Green Institute’s Executive Ambassador program seeks to harness and improve the skills of individuals interested in environmental sustainability and sustainable practices. The platform provides an avenue for professionals and scholars to assume an active role in environmental leadership. Executive Ambassadors are provided with skills that will inspire innovative changes towards achieving sustainable living in their communities. Executive membership includes access to global green events, networking opportunities, and resources. In addition, Executive ambassadors have access to a wide range of events held globally that will support them throughout their personal and professional and career cycle.
Functions
Executive Ambassadors will oversee the affairs of Green Institute in their communities
Represent Green Institute at events in their locations
Coordinate research and Champion green living in their communities
Identify opportunities for Green Businesses in their community
Act in an advisory capacity to the Green Campus Governors in their zone

collaborating on market-based strategies that advance the ecological mission and initiatives of the Green Movement;

Providing a networking forum for members to advance business relationships among other members,
facilitating dialogue with government, regulators and industry on how corporations can be supported to be environmentally conscious
Helping members to access global green funds and to grow their influence, reputation and recognition as socially responsible and environmentally conscious entities .

Eligibility
For individuals employed by a government entity (international, national, regional, or local) or a publicly controlled or funded agency, enterprise, or other entity that delivers public programs, goods, or services.
Interest in environmental sustainability and sustainable practices
Proven record of leadership and commitment to purpose
High interest in personal development
Affiliation to an academic, research institution or an environmental enterprise will be highly welcomed
